Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Bangalore, Karnataka, has invited applications from eligible diploma holders under lateral entry scheme for Diploma Common Entrance Test 2012, popularly known as Diploma CET. Diploma CET is an entrance test being conducted by KEA for admission into second year / third semester engineering and first year architecture course, to be offered in both day and evening engineering colleges of Karnataka state in the ensuing session 2012.

Diploma Common Entrance Test 2012 is scheduled to be held on August 19, 2012 (from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm) Kannada Language Test for Horanadu & Gadinadu Kannadiga Candidates will be conducted on August 19, 2012 (from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm)
How to Apply
Interested candidates may apply online only by filling up the application form made available on the official website of KEA: http://www.kar.nic.in/. In addition, candidates have to pay the prescribed application fee through Bank Challan (downloadable from the website) at the designated banks (list given on the website). After filling up all the details, one has to submit the online application form on the website itself. Candidates will be able to download Admission ticket once the application form is accepted by KEA. For further information regarding admission, eligibility criteria and application procedure, one can visit the abovementioned website of KEA.
The last date for submission of filled application along with relevant documents in any of
the following Govt. Polytechnics (Document Verification Centers) is on or before
05-06-2012, 5.00 p.m.
