channels - lossless, deterministic, noiseless, BEC, BSC - Mutual information -
Channel capacity - Shannon-Hartley law - Sub-band coding - Transform coding -
LPC - Shannon-Fano coding, Huffman Coding, run length coding, LZW algorithm.

UNIT IV ERROR CONTROL CODING TECHNIQUES 9
